Enjoying a Cappucino in various coffee shops around the world and locally and watching ‘Castle’ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castle_(TV_series)), I became interested in the ‘Latte Art’ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latte_art). [[In Castle, the male lead role makes a coffee for his partner and soon-to-be wife in the morning, adding a heart each time. How romantic…]]
Turns out doing this – without cheating – is actually a bit of an art. I bought the book (“Seattle Barista Academy Training Manual”, www.amazon.de/Seattle-Barista-Academy-Training-Manual-ebook/dp/B0055DYTOU/ref=sr_1_1) and started practice, with very little luck so far. I got random noise, clouds, ‘blobs’, but nothing even remotely resembling a heart.
But this morning, ta-dah, and maybe never repeatable, I created a bit of a heart:
– so the quest goes on….
