Great place at For guys eating away at roughly a kilo of meat. Not exactly vegetarian but as I rather eat great meat rarely than so-so meat often just my kind of thing… Photos are not optimal but for my memories sake here they are…

Finally the Wiener schnitzel in Vienna

… at hotel Sacher of all places. Very nice nevertheless. The ‘Petersiliekartoffeln’ were nice, with plenty of butter. Not lean but wonderful.

Tafelspitz (again), in Vienna at Plachutta

Another ‘classic’ in Vienna, more upscale than yesterday at Figlmüller. The food is fabulous, both in presentation and taste. Best beef boullion (Kraftbrühe in German) EVER. Three variants of Tafelspitz, very lean, lean and not lean. Accompanied by excellent red wine 🍷 and a very nice desert wine. I like food from Vienna…

Wiener schnitzel (not!) in Vienna

At a business meeting in beautiful Vienna – with dinner in a famous Schnitzel Place, “Figlmueller” ( ). Nice place, down-to-earth, large Schnitzel. Train from Wiesbaden to Vienna

Long time no business trip – nice to be on the road again 🙂 This time by train from Wiesbaden to Vienna – takes about 7 hours but much preferred over flying. The pictures are Flughafen Frankfurt railway station and approaching Frankfurt central station.
